Simon Jones is a Central Florida Based Trombonist and Educator with a Background in Jazz, Blues, Funk, Gospel, and Commercial Music.
He received a Bachelor's of Music Education from the University of North Florida in 2023 and recently graduated from the University of Central Florida with his Master of Arts in the spring of 2025.
As a working trombonist in the Orlando area, Simon has had the opportunity to perform with the Sam Rivers Orchestra, Florida Man Big Band, Orlando Jazz Orchestra, Maitland Stage Band, Landau Murphy Jr., Glenn Miller Orchestra, and regularly works as a sideman in productions at the various Theaters and Theme Parks throughout Orlando. On the weekends, Simon can be heard as part of the Caribbean House Band at the Ocean Deck, which was recently rated USA Today's 2025 best beach bar in the U.S.
