MADY SHOOTING CLIPS
Loved the feedback from everyone who chimed in last week! I’ve got another for everyone to look at. This is Mady, she just graduated high school and is going to play in college. Really good point guard but struggles to shoot the ball. A few things that might help analysis:
- She has TINY hands, so finding a hand placement for her was something we worked on where she can shoot the middle of the ball but also has some control
- She is super strong so strength is not an issue, she was a power lifter in high school, but along with that she does not have a high range of motion in her shoulders/wrists.
- I attached a clip from after we worked for an hour or so, the first thing we worked on was what I felt like was the low hanging fruit: hand placement and just getting the ball closer to her body
