Just sharing a small reflection from today.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about how easy it is to lose yourself at work, especially when things feel busy, tense, or emotionally charged.
Staying grounded isn’t about being calm all the time. It’s about staying connected to yourself so you can respond instead of react, think clearly, and not carry everything home with you.
Sometimes grounding looks like:
- pausing before replying
- feeling your feet on the floor in a meeting
- slowing your breath when a conversation feels heavy
Small moments. Quiet adjustments. But they make a real difference.
I’ve put together a simple grounding cheat sheet with tools you can use at your desk, in meetings, or when overwhelm starts creeping in.
It’s not the finished story. just where I am today. Sharing this in case it resonates with someone else.
Downloadable Grounding Cheat Sheet
I’ve created a one-page PDF you can keep open on your laptop or print if that’s your thing.
👉 Let me know and I will share it with you.
It includes:
- why grounding matters (without the fluff)
- quick tools you can use anywhere
- simple reminders for meetings and conversations
Gentle Call to Action
If this helps, try choosing one tool to practice this week, especially in moments you usually rush through.
And if you feel like sharing:
- What situations at work unground you the most?
- Or what helps you come back to yourself during the day?
