"Fragments Of Hope" By: Shelby Ulfers
In the shadows deep where silence dwells,
A heart once whole new softy swells,
With echoes of love, a fleeting chance,
A dance of hope, a broken romance.
I held the flame, believed in change,
Yet here I stand, in pain so strange.
You left me once, then came back near,
But now the silence, it's all to clear.
Each promise whispered, a fragile thread,
Woven with dreams, now left for dead.
What can I do when trust is frayed.
When love's sweet song has long since played?
I'll gather the pieces, though sharp they be,
And learn to love the one in me.
For though you've gone, I'll rise anew,
A heart once shattered, but brave and true.
The End!
