Welcome to She Creates Herself.
If you’re reading this, thank you for being here.
My name is Akasha Sol, and for as long as I can remember, women have found their way to me. Friends, family members, coworkers, and sometimes complete strangers have shared their stories, their heartbreaks, their fears, and the parts of themselves they felt no one else could understand.
For years, I didn’t think much of it. I simply listened. I held space. I offered support where I could. It wasn’t something I considered a profession or a calling. It was simply who I was.
What I know now is that some of our greatest gifts are the things that come most naturally to us.
My path has been anything but linear.
Over the years, you may have known me through different projects, passions, businesses, spiritual practices, creative endeavors, or seasons of self-discovery. Some of those seasons were beautiful. Some were painful. Many were transformative. Looking back, I can see that every step was preparing me for the work I do today.
Like many of the women I hope to serve, I have experienced what it feels like to lose myself.
I have lost myself in relationships.
I have lost myself in expectations.
I have lost myself in old stories, survival patterns, and versions of myself that no longer fit.
And through that journey, I began learning how to come home to myself again.
Not through perfection.
Not through having all the answers.
But through awareness, compassion, healing, and a willingness to meet myself honestly.
The work I do today is rooted in that experience.
It is rooted in years of personal growth, self-reflection, spiritual exploration, and a deep commitment to understanding myself. It is rooted in the countless conversations I’ve shared with women throughout my life, and in my desire to help other women remember who they are beneath the roles they carry and the expectations they have inherited.
Women’s empowerment has always been close to my heart. Years ago, I founded the Spiritual Women’s Empowerment Circle, a community created to bring women together in support, healing, and connection. Long before that, I was surrounded by strong women—my mother, my grandmother, my sisters, my aunts, my mentors—and I witnessed firsthand the power that is created when women choose to support one another instead of compete with one another.
I believe there is a creative force within every woman.
I believe healing is not about becoming someone new.
I believe it is about remembering who you have always been.
And I believe that when women unite, support one another, and reclaim their voices, incredible things happen.
For this season of my life, that work has taken the form of coaching.
In many ways, it feels less like something new and more like a formal expression of something I’ve always been doing. The difference now is that I have more structure, more awareness, and a deeper understanding of how to guide women through the journey of self-reclamation.
As this practice continues to grow, I hope you’ll extend a little grace as I grow alongside it.
I may not post here every day. What you’ll find instead are reflections, lessons, inspirations, and the sparks that feel meaningful enough to share. Some posts may be practical. Some may be personal. Some may be spiritual. All of them will be authentic.
