Key Lessons I Took from Real Estate 101
I just completed the “Real Estate 101” course, and here are some of the most valuable things I learned:
  • Real estate is one of the most powerful tools for building long-term wealth when used strategically.
  • You don’t need to be rich to get started — knowledge, planning, and the right financing options can open doors.
  • Location is everything. Pay attention to areas showing signs of growth — things like new businesses, infrastructure projects, or rising rental demand.
  • Equity builds over time — every payment made is an investment in your future net worth.
  • Real estate can be a hedge against inflation, as property values and rents often rise over time.
  • There are many ways to invest — flipping, buy-and-hold, short-term rentals, and even house hacking.
