Building my Offer - Advice request
Over the last month (and a bit), I’ve been doing so much soul-searching — inspired by @Emmanuel Velasco and the 5-Day Tiny Challenge. I never expected it to completely shift my direction, but here we are: I’ve decided to leave my original bookkeeping-business plan behind and step fully into something that feels much more aligned. I’ve been refining what I truly want to create, and I think I’ve found it: a 90-day group experience designed to help people rebuild clarity, calm, and confidence through a blend of mindset work, energy alignment, and simple business structure. It pulls together all of my strengths — my creative side, my career in finance and systems, and everything I’ve learned through my education and life experiences — into one powerful, high-ticket offer. Here’s the vision: - 10 participants per group - $3,500 per person for the full experience (about $300/week) - One weekly live call - Digital tools and resources that can be reused across cohorts - At least $500+ of value each week through training, templates, guidance, and breakthroughs - I’d love your input! 💭What kinds of digital resources, tools, or experiences would you love to have inside a program like this — ones that deliver real value and can be reused in future cohorts?
🧠 The Psychology of the 1% — Stop Overthinking & Start Thinking Clearly
I watched this talk that completely reframed how I see success. It's not about thinking more…It’s about thinking better. And what separates the 1% isn’t intelligence, it’s clarity, calm, and consistency. Here’s what stood out the most 👇 🌗 1. Replace “OR” Thinking with “AND” Thinking Most people live in extremes: success or failure, good or bad. But the top 1% think in ANDs. “I’m scared AND I can still do it.” “This didn’t work AND it taught me what to fix.” That tiny shift gives permission to be both human AND capable all at once. “AND” builds emotional resilience. It’s freedom from perfection. 🔄 2. Inversion Thinking — Win by Avoiding Failure Stop asking “How do I succeed?” and start asking “What would guarantee I fail?” It’s easier to spot mistakes than predict perfection. When you know what causes failure, you just do the opposite. Overthinking = procrastination dressed up as productivity. Clarity starts when you focus on what not to do. 💔 3. The Sunk Cost Trap — Let Go to Grow “Most people are addicted to their own suffering.” We hold onto things just because of the time or energy we’ve already spent. But if you wouldn’t start it again today, it’s okay to release it. Time invested is not a reason to keep suffering. Letting go is not failure it’s maturity. 🎯 4. Constraint Thinking — Find the Real Bottleneck Top performers don’t fix everything, they fix the right thing. Ask: “What’s the one constraint holding everything else back?” Usually it’s the thing you’ve been avoiding. Focus on that, and the rest falls into alignment. 🌿 5. Emotional Filter — Don’t Decide in a Storm When emotions spike, so do errors in decision-making. Fear, stress, anger, they distort reality. “If I feel emotional, I do not make decisions.” “I only decide when I am content.” Content doesn’t mean “happy.” It means no urgency, no panic. Because our brains crave quick exits when things feel heavy, that’s recency bias. But the real advantage of the 1% is they stick with the plan long enough to win.
Why Every Entrepreneur Needs a Business Plan
If you’re anything like me, you hear “business plan” and think, ugh… boring! But here’s the truth — having a plan gives you focused direction, especially on those overwhelming days. It’s not just about spreadsheets and goals; it’s about knowing where you’re headed and why. One of my favorite tools for this is Chris Duncan’s Lenses. It’s a simple yet powerful way to view your business from different angles — your big vision, your current goals, and your daily actions. It helps you connect what you do today with where you want to be long-term. Using this method once helped me earn an extra $30,000 in a single year — just by staying aligned and intentional. ✨If you’ve been feeling scattered or unsure of your next step, try creating your own set of “lenses” this week. Start with your big picture and work your way down to daily actions — you’ll be amazed how clear things become!
New Offer Needed
My offer didn't land even though I inspired tears and emotions through my meeting 🤔 I'm looking for ideas on what other types of offers I can make to really help people see the value instantly and say "yes" I am debating making a website of options for people to select...but I also want to keep things simple. I know eventually I will have a software product to pair with whichever product we create to help see families in a new way for genealogy....but in the meantime I am wanting to craft custom gifts for the holidays to get some instant cash flow. Thoughts on what you would be looking for personally for the ones you love for the holidays?
New Offer Needed
Workshopping my brand
I am starting into the next phase of offer creation where I need to expand into a memorable and searchable brand. I know my focus is going to be on "celebration of Life Lyrics" which allows for memorials and commemorative milestones, but its a bit of a mouthful for a company name. I am going to be launching on September 25th, since that is national Daughters day, so today I am working on creating my personal brand so that I can get the word out. These are some ideas that I've had Claude pass by me, but none of them are quite hitting right: Life-Focused Names: - Celebration of Life Lyrics (featured in the designs) - direct and meaningful - Life Song Studios - simple and memorable - Living Legacy Lyrics - emphasizes lasting impact - Life Story Songs - clear and personal - Cherished Life Music - warm and honoring Memory & Legacy Names: - Memory Lane Melodies - nostalgic and musical - Legacy in Lyrics - preserving stories for the future - Timeless Tribute Songs - emphasizes lasting value - Precious Memory Music - emotional connection - Heritage Harmonies - family legacy focus Storytelling Names: - Life Stories in Song - narrative focus - Musical Memoirs - literary and personal - Song Stories Studio - creative and personal - Lyrical Life Chronicles - comprehensive storytelling - Melodic Memoirs - poetic and memorable Celebration Names: - Celebrate in Song - joyful and musical - Life's Beautiful Music - uplifting and positive - Joyful Tributes - positive celebration focus - Golden Moments Music - precious memories - Beautiful Life Ballads - romantic and honoring
