From our Bible study a few days ago — and this one is still alive.
Jesus didn’t ask how much it would cost.
He asked what was already there.
Five loaves.
Two fish.
Not enough — until surrendered.
Before the miracle, Jesus told them to sit down.
Before multiplication, He gave thanks.
And He looked up to heaven.
Not because He lacked power —
but because He chose obedience.
“The Son can do nothing by Himself; He can do only what He sees His Father doing.”
(John 5:19)
“By Myself I can do nothing… I seek not My own will but the will of Him who sent Me.”
(John 5:30)
Submission.
Surrender.
Obedience.
That is the order.
Then heaven moved.
The bread multiplied.
The fish multiplied.
Everyone ate.
And when the people saw the miracle,
they spoke — not as observers, but as witnesses:
“Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.”
(John 6:14)
Nothing surrendered in obedience is wasted.
Nothing given in faith stays small.
What comes from heaven is always enough.

Ask the Holy Spirit:
• What do I already have in my hands?
• Where have I been trying to move without first surrendering?
• What is He inviting me to submit, release, or obey today?
Sit with it.
Listen.
Let Him speak.
