After the Session 5 of the 10 step program, the basic understanding is this one : If I am not at peace in the moment, that means that I am involved in an inner conflit ( sometimes it can be quite overt, and sometimes very subtle).
This is the good time for inverstigating : What am I fighting with ? What part of my inner experience am I trying to avoid ?
Then see if it is possible to drop the conflict and accep what is present in the moment, even if it's uncomfortable.
Peace will be experienced again when the conflict will come to an end.
