I think this is one of the hardest things that Creator struggle with.
I’ve had multiple creators ask me if I have any advice on what to charge.
Lol, I have no clue.
So I started researching how businesses know whether a Creator’s rate is good or not?
One company in specific had a really interesting model. That’s what I wanted to share with you guys.
Cal AI (the AI calorie tracker app) averages the last 20 videos of a creator and then compares the price the creator is charging to the views.
That company specifically has a benchmark target, where they will pay anybody if the price for 1000 views is below $2.5.
For example, if the average of your last 20 videos is 10,000 views. The maximum this app will pay you is $2.5 * 10 =$25.00.
Each company is going to be different and my goal is to help you guys get the most money out of these brands.
So if you don’t know what to charge, maybe ask the brand if they have target CPMs. They often have internal amounts.
This way you don’t have to throw a rate that’s way too high and immediately get the brand disinterested. Or throw one out that’s too low and can calculate a general range that you should give your rates.
P.S. If anyone has any other strategies that help, please let us know in the comments.
