Happy New Year everyone 👋
I know a lot of people come into a new year saying, “This year I want a better job” — and then the applications start… but nothing changes.
One thing I’ve noticed from working with job seekers is that most people aren’t doing anything wrong. Their resumes just don’t explain their experience clearly enough.
Sometimes it’s:
- too much information
- unclear job titles or achievements
- or a resume that doesn’t match the role they’re applying for
I’m Ogundele Alimat, and I work as a resume writer. I help people clean up their resumes so recruiters can actually understand what they do and why they’re a good fit.
