Wow. What a catchy name. Thanks for joining! Here are a couple of rules to keep in mind: 1. Don't be an Asshole Pretty self-explanatory. You can discuss/disagree without being rude. If you are rude after being warned you'll be removed from the group. This is a chill place; be excellent to each other. 2. Introduce yourself Start a new discussion and let us know - who you are - what your experience level is - what you're up to - what you're hoping to get help with * Make sure you select the "introduction" cateogyr! 3. Jump right in and ask a question/answer someone else's question You really do get out of this community what you put in. 4. Finally: don't shill your SEO services/products This group doesn't exist for you to spam everyone, and you'll be promptly banned if you do.

Hey, I'm Marcus
I've been working with websites forever (30 years now), and always had to have an awareness of SEO. At first it was just that, an awareness for best-practice for client websites. Then I got into ecommerce, and SEO became essential for the sustainability and growth of those businesses. Now, I'm back to working on a combination of local and service niche websites, as well as chatting all thins SEO with others in Advise.so, thanks to discovering youtube.com/@indexsy and meeting @Sean Markey online in Advise. One thing that's made a huge difference to my work is all the tools I've discovered and now use, which took a time of time in testing so many to settle on those I now rely on, so always happy to talk about tools and tactics with those. SEO is a moral obligation to learn, as it helps me to help others that are good at what they do, to be found :)

Hey I'm Sean
Nice to meet you. I have a pretty diverse SEO experience borne of trying a million things (and mostly failing, but learning) - I've built and sold about $1M worth of affiliate sites (back when they could actually rank) - I've sold over $200k worth of domain names (premium names + SEO domains) - I write a couple of SEO newsletters: Rank Theory and The Weekly SEO - I've been a guest on the Niche Pursuits podcast (twice), Tropical MBA pod, and the Empire Flippers podcast (among others) I'm most known for using expired domains to rank shit, but I do a lot less of that these days... Currently I help businesses with M&A for SEO purposes and doing high-level strategy consulting--both at Ranks.com. I live in Vermont, just south of Canada, in an old farmhouse. It's pretty here:
