One thing I learned working in Big 5 publishing is this: authors didn’t compete the way people assume.
▪️They shouted each other out.
▪️They showed up to launches.
▪️They talked about more than one book.
Readers don’t buy one book in their lifetime.
They buy from authors they trust, and trust is built on community.
So let’s start there.
