✍️ Better Scripts Start with Better Story Ideas
One of the biggest misconceptions about AI writing is that the AI does all the creative work.
In reality, the quality of the final script depends heavily on the quality of the story idea you provide.
A very short description like this works:
> **A 60-second dramatic retelling of the asteroid impact 66 million years ago — what the sky looked like, what happened in the first 24 hours, and why it changed life on Earth forever. Cinematic, visual, short.**
Seedflows will generate a script.
But because the idea contains very little information, the AI has to make many creative decisions on its own.
If you already have a clear vision for your documentary, it's much better to describe that vision in more detail.

## A more detailed story idea

The Day the Dinosaurs Disappeared
### Act 1 – Before the Impact
Introduce Earth just before the asteroid arrived. Dinosaurs have dominated the planet for over 160 million years. Everything appears peaceful and ordinary, giving the audience a sense that nothing unusual is about to happen.
### Act 2 – The First 24 Hours
Describe the asteroid entering Earth's atmosphere before striking near present-day Mexico. Explain the enormous explosion, the shockwave, global wildfires, earthquakes, and the massive amount of debris thrown into the atmosphere.
### Act 3 – A Changed Planet
Explain how dust blocked sunlight, temperatures dropped, plants died, and food chains collapsed. Show how many species disappeared while small mammals survived, eventually becoming the ancestors of modern mammals—including humans.
### Interesting facts to include
- Asteroid diameter: approximately 10 km (6 miles)
- Chicxulub crater: over 180 km (110 miles) wide
- Around 75% of all species became extinct
- Small mammals survived partly because they could shelter underground and required much less food than large dinosaurs
### Style
Create a cinematic documentary with scientifically accurate explanations, vivid visual storytelling, and a powerful conclusion that connects this extinction event to the rise of mammals and, ultimately, humanity.

## Why this matters
Notice the difference.
The second example doesn't just describe a topic.
It describes the story.
It tells the AI:
- what should happen first
- how the story should progress
- which facts are important
- what deserves the most attention
- what kind of experience the audience should have
The more precisely you describe your idea, the less the AI has to guess—and the closer the final script will match the story you originally imagined.
