One thing that I've been told early on in screenwriting is that just writing scripts is not enough. No one is going to magically buy your scripts if you don't put yourself out there. You have to promote yourself and your work. One thing that can help is having a website. John Carpenter's The Thing was pretty cool! The visuals and that monster, woooahh! Def fun discussing that one last night. For our Movie Club meeting in November, to celebrate the 50th Anniversary, we're watching ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST! Winner of all 5 major Academy Awards ("The Big Five"): Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Adapted Screenplay. It was the second film in history to achieve this feat! If you haven't seen this movie, you're in for a treat!
