Engagement Challenge #2 - “Community Direction Voting” 🙋‍♂️
It’s a new Challenge Monday, and I got a great one for you this week! It’s much lower effort - only 1 post, but with a ton of value. 💡 Idea: Let your members decide 1 Aspect of your Community’s direction. ✅ Task: Create a post in your community asking for their opinion, and whatever their opinion is - you implement it. 1. Select a “Community direction” Aspect for your members to vote on. It can be asking how they want to receive value. Or what they want to pay for. Or what “Fun” activities they want to do. It can be anything related to your community - You decide which question is the most important right now. 2. Provide options in a poll. Make it simple. 3. Ask them to choose. Discuss the choices in the comments. The purpose is not only get engagement, but Steer the community in the direction that your members want. ❓ Why: Because we build Community for the Community, not for ourselves. This Challenge takes control away from you and gives it to your Community. But don’t be scared - you don’t lose full control. You get to decide which aspect, they decide which direction. ⏰ Timeline: This week, until Friday. Press “I’m in” to accept the Challenge. If you do, I will hold you accountable and ask to share the result on Friday/Saturday. I will be your accountabilibuddy ☺️ 👇 Put any questions about the Challenge in the comments, and I’ll happily answer. P.S. My inbox after taking the Sunday off Skool. Almost hit that 99+ 😄

Engagement Challenge #1 - “Ask, Don’t Talk”
For our very first challenge I want to use a simple, yet foundational engagement Topic. The idea: Your post should be a question, rather than a statement. This allows your community to talk, rather than just you. The Task: I want 50% of your overall posts this week to be “questions”. If you post in multiple communities you can decide which ones to be questions - just overall 50%. I’m participating in the challenge too, so here’s my post schedule this week: Kommunity Kids: 5 posts Skoolers: 3 posts Other communities: 12 posts Overall, I plan to make 20 posts, so 10 of them would be questions. Example: Check out this post from @Chris Suckling. Instead of telling people how to do networking - he asks how other people do it. (And he got great engagement 🙂) Structure: If you don’t know how to reformulate your posts into questions, use this structure: 1. Give context about the topic (How Chris gave about Networking) 2. Tell how you do it personally 3. Ask how others do it Some additional engagement tips: - CTA should be as simple as possible - Tag relevant people in the post - Add the first comment 🎉🎉 LET THE GAMES BEGIN 🎉🎉

## Weekly Engagement Challenges ##
I understand most of you joined this group to learn community building and member engagement. So instead of giving you only theory, I want to make it more actionable. I decided to do mini weekly challenges, in which you improve engagement in your communities. It’s very simple - I will give you simple engagement recommendations to use in your posts. It will be 1 topic a week to fully focus on. The goal is to apply theory from that topic in your posts, to increase engagement. SCHEDULE: Monday - I will announce a Topic and give you certain tasks. Tuesday & Wednesday - I will provide more information on the topic. Friday/Saturday - Participants should tell us how it went. What worked and what didn’t, so that all of us learn! Saturday - Community meetup to discuss challenge results and hang out. It’s up to you if you want to participate. There are no prizes for now, it’s simply for you to make your communities better. 👇Are you going to participate? First task tomorrow!
