Yes, you heard me right man.
It doesnât matter what tips and tricks you use to stay consistent with your habits, or what type of accountability system you set up, you will NEVER stay consistent if your paradigm around those habits is broken.
âBut Kasparas, what even is a paradigm?â
Ahhhhh, if that question genuinely popped into your headâŚ
First, I feel kinda sad for you, mate.
Second, youâre about to learn one of the most important concepts of your life so youâre actually in a good spot hahah.
A paradigm is simply how you perceive reality and the world around you.
I know, I know it sounds like some spiritual woo woo BS, but trust me, this is the #1 mental shift that every high level entrepreneur had to make in order to consistently take action and grow their biz
Hereâs how it works:
The amount of money you make â all the actions youâve taken â all the decisions youâve made â all the options youâve ever perceived â all the thoughts you've ever had â YOUR PARADIGM.
I know, it sounds a bit like rocket science but really all Iâm saying is this:
đ Your perception of reality directly shapes what your life looks like.
And if your paradigm is out of alignment sorry mate but no amount of habit trackers, reminders, or routines will save you.
Youâll always fall back down to the level of your paradigm.
Let me give you a quick example:
Say youâre doing cold outreach, and today you need to follow up with every lead you've DMed.
Depending on your paradigm, hereâs what that might look like:
âCold outreach is hard and annoying. Iâm just wasting my time. They probably think Iâm being pushy and wonât respond.â
(0 follow ups sent)
âOkay, I guess itâs annoying, but Iâll try anyway. Maybe it works.â
(2â3 follow-ups sent)
âI know my leads respect my persistence. The longer I follow up and provide social proof, the more likely they are to book a call. What do I have to lose? Iâll follow up until they fuckin block me.â
(8+ follow-ups sent)
See? Itâs all about the way you look at it.
If you truly believe that follow ups are annoying and pointless, then no amount of habit tracking or accountability will help.
Sooooo how do I change my paradigm?
Good question.
Step one is simply being aware that you even have one duh
(Congrats most people never get that far. Youâre already ahead of 99% of other entrepreneurs.)
I wonât go deep into it in this post, because itâs a topic that needs its own full breakdown.
But if you want me to drop a mini guide on how to actually shift your paradigm (maybe with a loom vid too) let me know in the comments below.
Your consistency coach Kasparas;)
