I'm Johanna Cueva. 11+ years dancing salsa, 200+ classes taught. Dance brought me back when I was lost in my own body. I built this to do the same for you.

I joined Salsa From Home because salsa has always been something I’ve wanted to learn. But to my surprise this community is so much more than that! Yes of course we learn to dance, and I absolutely love how simple and straightforward the lessons are! But it’s also a community full of beautiful women from all over the world, all on the same mission, to pour back into themselves! It’s truly so inspiring to be able to connect with this incredibly powerful group of women! 💕

What I love about Dance Salsa From Home is that not only do you have well structured and easy to navigate content, but you also have an active community to share your goals and struggles with. Johanna, the teacher, is always present and active in giving you the tools to progress. She creates challenges and organizes events with other artists as well. In addition, if you ever miss a live class, you will always find it in the platform later for you to recover.

I joined Salsa From Home from Japan after discovering Johanna on Instagram. I love her beautiful, feminine style and expressions. 💃✨ As I work through the modules, I start recognizing movements from her videos—suddenly it clicks, and my body understands too! I also love this global community where women share, encourage, and celebrate each other. When needed, I use AI to help with the language barrier, making the world feel much closer. 🌎💕

SFH has been the greatest unlock for helping me practice consistently. The live classes are brilliant and if you miss one it’s easy to catch up on the replay. There’s lots of bonus classes that come up too like yoga and musicality. Jo is an incredible teacher. And it’s so wonderful connecting with other amazing women through the community. Honestly feels like such a bargain for all the value you get. Highly recommend.

Johanna randomly came across my feed one day, and I’m so happy I decided to join Salsa form Home! She has such a beautiful, kind energy and is a wonderful instructor. The classes are fun and low-pressure, while still helping you grow as a dancer. She has also created a community of the incredible women from allover the world and a platform where we can connect on more than dance. Thanks Jo! <3
