You know some Russian.
But when it's time to speak...
❌ You freeze.
❌ You know the words but can't find them.
❌ Conversations feel harder than lessons.
I've spent 11 years teaching Russian and helping thousands of students become confident speakers. I'm a native Russian speaker, speak 5 languages, and have built an audience of 500,000+ language learners.
This is the community I always wished existed—focused on consistent practice, not endless studying.

I've made exceptionally impressive progress! After just two weeks of joining speaking classes every day, I'm able to say simple sentences in Russian. I can even write a full paragraph in cursive Cyrillic. The classes motivate me to practice, and I enjoy learning with people from different backgrounds and cultures. I love all the teachers—they each have their own way of teaching and are very patient. There’s still a lot more to learn, and an abundance of study materials!

I’m very glad I joined RussianUp! I especially enjoy the live speaking classes and the opportunity to practice Russian in a supportive environment. I feel more comfortable expressing my thoughts, even when I make mistakes. The teachers’ feedback, courses, and recordings help me learn and improve. I also appreciate how promptly Zhanna responds to my questions. This community helps me keep moving toward my goals.
