This group uses the Elder Futhark runes as a symbolic path through the 12 steps of recovery. It is not a replacement for recovery work, sponsorship, therapy, or community — it is a mythic and psychological lens through which we confront addiction, destruction, truth, shame, grief, accountability, healing, and transformation.
Each rune represents a stage of inner reckoning:
Hagalaz- collapse, chaos, surrender
Nauthiz-desperation, need, survival
Isa-stillness, denial, self-confrontation
Ansuz- truth, confession, voice
Kenaz- illumination, seeing the wound clearly
Gebo- exchange, trust, accountability
Wunjo- hard-earned joy and connection
Mannaz, the self stripped bare
Raidho- right action, movement, repair
Jera- consequences, harvest, patience
Laguz- intuition, grief, surrender to flow
Dagaz- breakthrough, rebirth, becoming
Come willing to speak truth name what was buried, reclaim personal responsibility, and rebuild ourselves from the ruins. listen deeply, walk through the fire instead of around it.
