Best Event Reward?
What kind of token of recognition do you MOST look forward to earning?
I've never been a massive fan of medals for 'simply competing' - they just go straight in a drawer never to be seen again, BUT, having DNF'd and sat near a finish line yesterday, I REALLY coveted all the awesome people coming and collecting a medal. It felt actually earned and I think I finally 'got it' !
How about finisher t-shirts? Iron-on or velcro patches? Belt buckles? Certificates?
Something more fun and collectible, like a "coin", a badge or similar? Or simple bottle of beer / chocolate is maybe reward enough in the moment?
