Welcome to the Ochestra!
Hello! Welcome to the Rose Music Studio Orchestra! This is a community helping strings players of the Violin, Viola, Cello, & Bass not just learn to play their instruments, but have fun by learning to play their favorite songs. We don’t just find the right sheet music for you. We learn how to make the sheet music for our instruments the way we want it.
My name’s Elisha G. Rose. I’ve learned to play all four of the string instruments in the violin family. When wanting to play something outside of my Suzuki books, I always struggled to find the songs I loved written with the sound I wanted. That drove me to study music theory, which opened the creative doors of making the sheet music I want.
As a teacher, I wanted to do more than just teach students how to play the string instruments. I wanted to help them learn to play the songs that drew them to playing these instruments. Improvisation is a part of my regular lesson routine, and melody writing is a standard practice in my music theory course.
I put together this community to help students achieve the dream of playing their favorite songs on the violin, viola, cello, or bass.
