Do AI channels buy views?

Hey all I am very skeptical of some of these AI video channels that have tens of millions of views and millions of followers. Not all but many of them only have a handful of videos and been around less than a year. Despite this their view and subscriber counts are through the roof.

This gives me the suspicion they are buying views so they can also create "how to" AI videos and sell their product. If they have SO many organic views why don't they post more frequently? If those channels are basically printing ad dollars why are they dormant for weeks without posting anything?

It makes me think they are buying views with the intent of showing the channel as proof to sell AI tutorials for you to sign up for their service. Which would explain the non frequent posts since its actually costing them a lot of money to pay for all the views for each one.
