Introduction: Maxwell Riseman
Hi everyone, Maxwell Riseman here, 22 years old. Earlier this year, I was in a severe depression, could not function at all, just begging to survive each day. Could not get out of bed, etc.
I have been healing and a lot has happened from getting fired from a job because I went above and beyond in a good way through inspiring someone (but they did not like it because I technically broke a policy); to family member passing away out of nowhere; to a friend committing suicide about 3 weeks ago.
In all honesty, this was a year I learned how broken the world was; however, there are still a lot of people filled with light and those are the people I seek to connect with. For some reason, I still deeply care even though I am hurt and wounded. All these experiences have just humbled made me, made me realize my mission to serve, and have made me realize I have no interest in chasing the world's expectations.
I am on a mission to unite people worldwide to heal loneliness through kindness, shared experiences, and community-led events. To do this I run ig accounts @riseupriseman & @skoolofrise, and I have a community on skool dedicating to bringing together people with purpose and big hearts to support one another and "RiseUp Together"
