When God says go, you don’t get to negotiate the details — you just leap.
Next month, I’m moving to Hawaii to start a federal position. Everyone who knows me is excited… and truthfully, I am too. But beneath the excitement is anxiety. I’m moving to an island alone. I don’t yet know where I’ll live. My adult children will remain on the mainland. And if that weren’t enough, the government is mid-shutdown.
But still… I’m going.
Because faith doesn’t wait for all the lights to turn green. Faith walks into the unknown, trusting that the same God who called you there has already gone before you.
Sometimes obedience feels like freefall.
Sometimes purpose looks like a one-way ticket.
And sometimes peace doesn’t show up until after you’ve said yes.
I’m learning that courage isn’t the absence of fear — it’s the decision to keep moving with it.
So if you’re standing at your own edge today… take the leap.
Your wings will meet you in the air. 🕊️
Reflection Prompt:
Where is God (or life) asking you to leap before you feel ready?
