๐ฑ A little reminder I need this week, and it might help you too.
The other day I was listening to this video while going for a walk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sWLQwSp9Ns&t=516s And honestly, it came at the perfect moment. I had been feeling a bit overwhelmed. You know that feeling when you're working on so many things: building something, creating content, setting up systems, planning the next steps, but the results arenโt really visible yet. It can make you wonder if you're actually moving forward, or if you're justโฆ staying busy. While listening, they used an analogy that really stuck with me: building a business is like growing a plant. ๐ฑ When you first plant a seed, nothing happens for a while. You water it, you give it sunlight, you take care of itโฆ and still, from the outside, it just looks like a pot of soil. Days pass, sometimes weeks, and you start wondering if anything is actually happening. It can feel frustrating, because youโre putting in the effort but thereโs no visible proof yet that itโs working. ๐คทโโ๏ธ But what we often forget is that a lot is happening under the surface. The seed is opening, the roots are growing, the foundation is forming. You just canโt see it yet. And if you stopped watering it just because nothing appeared above the soil, the plant would never grow. Eventually though, if you keep showing up and taking care of it, a little sprout appears. ๐ฑ And that tiny sprout will grow into something bigger and stronger over time. Looking back, all those invisible days of effort suddenly make sense. It reminded me that building something meaningful โ a business, a skill, a new life โ almost always has an invisible phase. A phase where you're learning, experimenting, trying things, improving, and staying consistentโฆ even when the results havenโt caught up yet. So if youโre currently in a moment where it feels like youโre doing a lot but not seeing the payoff yet, maybe itโs not that nothing is happening. Maybe it just means the roots are still growing.
