Job Applications during Holiday Season

I recall during the previous community call that Austin mentioned that most companies implement a hiring/interview freeze during December. I was considering purchasing a premium version of a job application autofiller just for the Thanksgiving week, as work will be pretty slow, but I'm having second thoughts. Even the company I work for will have hiring/interview freezes as the holidays approach and most people will be on vacation.

Since were already in the latter half of November, is it still worthwhile to submit applications? In my case, should I still purchase the premium version of the job app autofiller?
