I dropped out at 16 to go ALL IN on my coaching business💸 - Here's my story.
If you don't already know me, I'm Sam Walford. I am 16 years old, and from Coventry UK.
I’m making enough money through coaching to convince my parents to let me drop out at 16.
I’m travelling Europe this summer on the money I have made, and meeting up with my online friends. And I love my work because I change lives and it’s so purposeful.
It’s now my mission to inspire other guys like us, and show you that it is possible to make money online both purposefully and enjoyably. I’m sharing my story to inspire you, here it is:

My early childhood:
- I lived a normal childhood. Football, cross country, fortnite, minecraft, exploring with my friends, living as a child should do.
- I'm grateful to have never had any family problems, and I've never had any trauma from my parents. I see much of my father in myself, and I am so grateful for that.
- I had an old youtube channel where I did random vlogs, gaming videos and the like which I loved, and this was just the start of my youtube journey.
- When I was 9 or 10, I also started getting a feeling that somehow, and I didn't know how, that I was different, and that I would amount to greatness.

13 years old:
- I started year 9 in school in September 2023. Around this time my dad got me into working out at home. I became serious about running, and started mountain biking too.
- In October I asked out my crush I was obsessed over, and she said yes. I started dating her, but then she broke up with me after a month and it fucked me up so bad.
- Near the start of November 2023, I discovered self improvement. I started following Hamza’s self improvement advice and got my friend onto it too.
- I got over the girl, and went all in on living a sick life; biking, running, exploring and loving life.

14 years old:
- In June 2024 I started a self improvement channel. I recorded in the woods because I was scared people would find it. The clips got 3M views on TikTok, and my school found it on their for you page.
- EVERYONE found out. My dad let me continue and started giving me feedback. I got better at making videos, built up a community in a discord server, and started genuinely changing lives.
- I stopped speaking to anyone at school, cut everyone off, and went ALL IN. I also got a free trip to Japan.
- In December 2023, I had about 1.4k subs, and I started selling self improvement youtube coaching, and then started teaching others how to do coaching for themselves.
- December was £50. January was £8. February was £130. March was £350. April was £1400.
- My coaching business BLEW THE FUCK UP AT 14 YEARS OLD. My family was so proud of me, and I was finally “him”

15 years old:
- I turned 15 in April 2024. My coaching business plateaued but it was fine, as I was making over £1500/month consistently.
- But I got complacent. I got addicted to video games, and wasted the entire summer indoors. My business crumbled.
- I woke up every morning literally crying with the pain I had caused myself to experience. I was losing it all and I couldn’t get over this addiction.
- Waking up at 16:30, quickly rushing to get on a call with a client before playing fifa career mode afterwards until 5am.
- By September I had lost it all, and was pretty much broke again. I decided to fuck business and just live life again. I was sick of video games. I started rock climbing and talking to girls again.
- I actually started enjoying life again. I escaped my rut and started having motivation to live again.
- In November 2024 I decided to start upon my passion of filmmaking and I loved it. I locked in, waking up at 3:30AM every morning to work on my films and I finally had a passion in life again,
- I recovered from my video game addiction completely, but I was still completely broke and this was a huge issue.
- And so in March of 2025, I decided to go all in on my coaching business again. But this time, I would prioritise my impact and take what I had learnt into it.

16 years old:
- I set up a course presale and made a few videos and made $1500 from literally a couple hours of work. That told me everything; I had to get back to coaching.
- I started helping my boys to get their first sales once again and started feeling good as fuck once again. I finally opened up my coaching once again.
- And because of this, I managed to convince my parents to let me dropout, which I have now done.
- I’m travelling Europe this summer and paying for it all myself.
- And I am changing lives, helping others to make money online, and it is so fucking epic, I truly love my life.
- And now, I have a vision to do so much greater.
- My mission is to inspire as many young guys as possible to start making money online purposefully and enjoyably to free ourselves from both the system and being slaves to our businesses.
- I am planning on blowing the fuck up to share my message and inspire as many as possible.
It is possible to succeed in online business while still enjoying it no matter your age. I am proof of this. I really hope my story has inspired you :)
