RSR Weekly Check-In — Oct 24-30, 2025 (Fri->Thu)
Post your 1-1-1 below:1 win / 1 miss / 1 next action
Non-negotiables this week:
- Timers: 3 x 15-minute timed sets per study day
- Error log: record what, why, fix for every miss
- Code + math reps: 20 questions per study day
- Mock block: 60-90 minutes before Thu night, then review
Pick your lane and ship reps:
ELECTRICIAN (ELEC)
- CEC focus: Sections 0, 2, 4, 8, 10 (clearances, bonding/grounding, OCPD)
- Math: voltage drop, series/parallel, power triangle
- Mock idea: 40 Q mixed CEC + 20 Q math, timed
INSTRUMENTATION (INST)
- Loops + P&IDs: tag logic, 4-20 mA, HART, I/P scaling
- Process math: range, span, percent of scale, linearization basics
- Mock idea: 30 Q instrumentation + 30 Q process math, timed
HEAVY DUTY MECHANIC (HDM)
- Systems: hydraulics (pressure/flow/area), air brakes, electrical diagnostics
- Math: Pascal’s law, gear ratios, torque to power conversions
- Mock idea: 30 Q hydraulics + 30 Q electrical/diagnostic flow, timed

Sample 1-1-1s to copy:
- ELEC: Win: nailed 3 voltage drop drills. Miss: rushed bonding questions. Next: 2 x 15-min timers on Section 10, log misses.
- INST: Win: fixed 4-20 mA scaling math. Miss: slow on P&ID tag conventions. Next: 20 Q tag drill + 1 mock set.
- HDM: Win: hydraulic ratio math finally clicked. Miss: guessed 3 brake system items. Next: 30 Q air brake set + error log.
Let’s build passes, not excuses.
