Leaving a church building did not disconnect me from God. Stepping away from Christianity as a system did not stop the Holy Spirit from speaking, guiding, correcting, comforting, and revealing truth in my daily life.
For me, this journey was not about rejecting God or my personal source. It was about seeking a deeper relationship beyond performance, fear, routine, or religious expectations.
The Holy Spirit still:• Guides me• Warns me• Gives me peace• Reveals truth• Helps me love people deeper• Leads me toward healing and purpose
Sometimes people believe that if someone steps outside of traditional church systems, they automatically lose connection with God. My experience has been the opposite. I learned that God can speak anywhere in the quiet, through life lessons, through compassion, through wisdom, and through the inner conviction of the Spirit. This is not rebellion - is a clear relationship, discernment, growth, and learning to listen beyond religion.
