🌿Held When I Thought I Was Alone
There are moments I can’t soften with words.
Moments that pressed me from every side until I felt emptied… forgotten… almost forsaken.
I searched for God in the noise, in the breakthrough, in the obvious.
But He felt quiet. Distant.
And somewhere in that silence, I started to question.
Not His power…
but His presence.
Then came a deeper realization.
This test was never about God proving Himself.
He does not change. He has never failed.
The test was on my faith.
Could I still believe He is near…
even when He feels far?
Could I still trust His heart…
when I cannot trace His hand?
And slowly, gently, my eyes opened.
I was never abandoned.
Not for a moment.
Because even when I felt like I was falling apart,
grace was holding me together.
Even when darkness seemed louder,
mercy was speaking over my life.
Where pain increased,
grace did not withdraw
it abounded even more.
Looking back, I see it now.
He was there
in the strength I didn’t know I had,
in the breath I kept taking,
in the way I did not break.
Not loud. Not obvious.
But faithful.
And that is enough.
