How Phones Are Rewiring Teen Brains
Dopamine isn’t the enemy—it’s the habit loop that matters. Every scroll, like, and notification gives the teen brain a hit of dopamine. That’s not inherently bad. What’s harmful is when dopamine becomes tied to external validation—not purpose, play, or real connection. 🔁 This creates a loop of: - Craving feedback - Needing constant stimulation - Struggling to focus without it 💡 Self-leadership starts with awareness. Start by asking your teen: 👉 “What do you feel before you reach for your phone?” 👉 “What are you hoping to get from it?” When they can name the need, they can choose how to meet it more consciously. #BrainHealth #DopamineLoop #TeenAwareness #SelfLeadership

Becoming the Adult You Wish You Had
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do for our teens… is do the work ourselves. When you model emotional regulation, self-reflection, and accountability—your teen notices. They may not say it. But they feel it. 💡 Let them watch you: ✔ Pause before reacting ✔ Reframe negative self-talk ✔ Choose growth over guilt That’s not just parenting. That’s legacy work. 💛 What part of your own self-leadership journey are you most proud of? #ParentGrowth #LeadByExample #LegacyOfLeadership #SelfLeadershipJourney
