Meet Martha. She’s the MVP of "doing too much." When Jesus came over, she wasn't sitting at His feet; she was in the kitchen, losing her mind over the menu and the fact that her sister Mary wasn't "helping" enough.
Martha’s flaw wasn't her work ethic—it was that she thought her value was in the hustle.
She was so focused on performing for Jesus that she missed the point of Jesus.
We’ve all been there: trading intimacy with God for a perfectly curated life or a packed calendar, just to feel like we’re "enough."
