- 4–5 lbs = 1 day in the fridge
- 12–16 lbs = 3–4 days
- 18–20+ lbs = 4–5 days
And no, the counter doesn’t count. And yes, every year someone waits until the last minute and ends up panic-thawing like a rookie.
