Hey everyone Iโm Paul, and Iโm excited to be joining you here at Read2Rise. As Christopher said in his video Iโm stepping in to help lead the book club and newsletter, and I wanted to properly introduce myself. A little about me; By day, I head up Learning & Development for a heritage organisation in the UK, supporting over a thousand colleagues across three estates. Iโve spent the last 20+ years working in leadership development, coaching, training, and creating learning programmes. I also do a little guest lecturing at my local University. Learning is my passion. Not just the formal stuff, but the kind that happens when we reflect, ask better questions, and try things out in the real world. Thatโs why I love what this club is all about. Books. Action. Growth. Not just reading to say weโve read something, but reading to become better versions of ourselves, more focused, thoughtful, courageous. Over the next few weeks, Iโll be sharing a bit more about whatโs coming including some new tools, prompts, and discussions to help you turn insights into action. But first, Iโd love to get to know you. (And if you ever want to chat, share ideas, or ask questions, my DMs are always open.) I'm also going to be curating the Read2Rise newsletter so if you haven't subscribed already you can do so here. What am I reading right now? ๐ One of my recent favourites is Supercommunicators by Charles Duhigg - packed with practical insights on how to have better conversations and genuinely connect. ๐ฌ Whatโs a book thatโs genuinely changed how you think, work, or live? Drop it below. I'm always on the lookout for new titles and fresh perspectives. Looking forward to learning alongside you. Paul
