Introductory Post
Welcome to the RBT Guidance & Support group. This group was founded to be a resource for RBT's to ask questions, gain support, and network with RBT's and BCBA's. Please introduce yourself and leave a note about what you hope to gain from the group.
To start, I'll introduce myself. I am Ashleigh Dominguez, and have been certified as an analyst since 2020. I've utilized the skills I've gained as a BCBA in multiple modalities, including within my daily practice and in high ticket online sales. I've noticed a need for more RBT mentorship, peer support, and trainings.
If we'd like to make a change within the field, it's up to everyone of us to stand up and be the change we'd like to see.
The goals of the group are the following:
1) help RBT's learn people skills (how to talk to parents, clients, BCBA's, etc)
2) help RBT's learn behavioral skills
3) help RBT's write objective notes
4) help RBT's learn how to respond to certain behaviors
5) help RBT's network
6) foster career support
7) connect RBT's with supervisors, good cases, and consistent income
8) provide a space for RBT's to ask questions, network, and make friends with other RBT's
