Cabbage Asian Coleslaw π₯π₯¬
Ingredients
3β4 cups finely shredded white cabbage
1β2 carrots, grated or julienned
Simple Asian Dressing
2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
1 tbsp rice vinegar or fresh lemon/lime juice
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
1 tsp fresh grated ginger (optional but lovely)
1 small garlic clove, minced (optional)
Instructions
Add shredded white cabbage and carrots to a bowl.
Whisk all dressing ingredients together.
Pour dressing over vegetables and toss well.
Let sit 10β15 minutes to soften slightly and absorb flavor.
Optional (if you want to elevate it β¨)
Sprinkle sesame seeds
Add sliced spring onion
A pinch of chili flakes
A squeeze of extra lime before serving
π₯ Tip:
If you want it extra tender, lightly massage the cabbage with the dressing for 1β2 minutes.
