Cabbage Asian Coleslaw ๐Ÿฅ•๐Ÿฅฌ
Ingredients
  • 3โ€“4 cups finely shredded white cabbage
  • 1โ€“2 carrots, grated or julienned
Simple Asian Dressing
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or fresh lemon/lime juice
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger (optional but lovely)
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced (optional)
Instructions
  1. Add shredded white cabbage and carrots to a bowl.
  2. Whisk all dressing ingredients together.
  3. Pour dressing over vegetables and toss well.
  4. Let sit 10โ€“15 minutes to soften slightly and absorb flavor.
Optional (if you want to elevate it โœจ)
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds
  • Add sliced spring onion
  • A pinch of chili flakes
  • A squeeze of extra lime before serving
๐Ÿฅ— Tip:
If you want it extra tender, lightly massage the cabbage with the dressing for 1โ€“2 minutes.
