Here’s the plan moving forward:
🔒 Founding Members Cap
Free Founding Member spots will be capped at 15 total
This includes me (owner) + 14 founding members
We’re approaching that number, which means there are only 4 founding spots left
If you know someone who would be a great fit for this community and wants in as a founding member, now’s the time to tell them to request access.
💰 Revenue Share (Founding Members Only)
50% of all future paid membership revenue will be split equally among the 14 founding members
This is my way of rewarding the people who help build and contribute to this community early on
🎶 Contribution Requirement
In return for that revenue share, founding members are expected to contribute:
At least 1 post per week
The post can be:
A song you think the community should hear
Something you’re into right now
Hip-hop, rap, R&B, or honestly any genre you’re feeling
No pressure to overthink it—just real participation.
(Posting more often is always welcome, but 1 post/song per week is the minimum.)
📢 Promotion Rules
Founding members may promote their own music, community, or business once per week
No spamming
Repeated violations may result in penalties or loss of founding status
💡 Membership Pricing – I Want Your Input
Skool offers several different options for charging membership (monthly, annual, one-time, etc.).
Before I make a final decision:
Take a look at the membership options available in the dashboard
Share your thoughts on what you think would work best
If you have other ideas on how we can attract and grow membership, feel free to:
Post them in the community, or
Message me directly
I’ll consider all feedback, even though the final decision will ultimately be mine.
🤝 Opt-In Only
If you want to be a founding member, you don’t need to do anything right now
If you do NOT want to be a founding member, that’s completely fine—just comment or message me to let me know
Once we hit 15, founding membership will be closed.
This community is about music, discovery, respect, and building something real together—and I want the founding members to be people who actually show up.
P.s. once we start generating revenue, we will upgrade to the VIP or premium community membership, which will make administration and moderator positions in the community available. You will be required to rotate those position amongst the 14 equally to help keep community participation in check and in line with our culture and vibe. Remember We as founding members will shape and cultivate the culture of this community. So let's make this A Poppin place for everyone to meet up and collaborate to share hip hop and keep the culture hot and savage.
