I know I haven't been active lately. But there's a question that has been bugging me since this evening.
SO, as we know that The universe is expanding. It is like a ballon and the things on it are like little dots on the ballon. So if the ballon expands, so does the distance between the dots. Here's the catch, the sun's also expanding. It is assumed that one day it will expand and destroy earth.
But if both the distance between the sun and our earth expands and so does the radius of our sun, shouldn't it do nothing to us? Like shouldn't we be safe from its expansion? Or will the gravitational force of the sun increase and pull our earth in and THEN destroy it? Or is the milkyway galaxy not expanding but only the surface of our universe is? But it doesnt make sense tho.
