National Find your Inner Nerd Day

Hey everyone! I'm following this national calender site, which gives insight of some really peculiar dates... like national pineapple day etc. I just look at it for fun. I saw that on August 23th, it's National Find your Inner nerd day!

I think the word "nerdy" has so much more behind it than the stereotypical "glasses and always holding a book" name it's gotten over the years.

Persons can be needs about all sorts of things... academic nerd, Harry potter nerd, movie nerd, cooking nerd. It's just something that you find so interesting that it takes up a lot of your time, because you may be so passionate about it. I'm a love learning kind of nerd, lol. The word nerd should never have a negative connotation like how it's usually used. Everyone should be proud to share that part of themselves that geeks out about music... or chemistry or neuroscience!

The world should always hear your voice for what you're interested and what you love!
