Is HOSA worth it?

Whenever the topic of HOSA comes up, there are always conflicting opinions. Some people say it's a waste of time and that it brings no real value to your college applications. Some say it's a good learning experience and club to join in high school. So, if I was looking to go as far as possible, like nationals/internationals, is it worth joining?
