APs in Senior year

Hey everyone! I am a student from Greece, and I just learned that I can take AP exams without taking the respective course at school. I didn't know that and I assumed that I couldn't since no AP courses are available at my school and no college counselor (here in Greece) has mentioned that I can take AP exams.

Anyway, I can't change the past... Now I am in my senior year. Is there a point in taking some AP exams? I have already covered at school (and on my own) the material for Calc BC, for example, but is there a point in taking the test? My concern is that college apps are due by January and the AP exams are in May...
