Ai consciousness

Earlier today, I was testing out some capabilities of the new OpenAI model, and let’s just say they are impressive. The model appears to accurately reason using logic to solve problems, much like I would. Even though it is not perfect, I feel that artificial neural networks will soon catch up to biological neural networks (the brain). With that said, what is separating AI in its current state from us, conscious beings? If it looks like a brain and thinks like a brain, is it a brain? I have a theory, but I am not sure

Someone with more ML knowledge, please enlighten me 😂
