🔥 Having the Drive to Achieve Hifdh
⏳ If you want to memorize the Qur’an, you need a real desire and drive to spend time with it consistently.
🎯 This applies to almost any goal in life.
💪 If you don’t truly want Hifdh, it becomes very difficult to put in the time and repetition needed to succeed.
📅 When I first started my Hifdh journey, I made sure I felt disappointed in myself when I neglected my daily goals.
For example:
  • Memorizing 1 Page 📖
  • Reviewing 2 Juz 🔁
If I failed to do it, I would associate that lack of action with discomfort — and that pushed me to improve the next day.
⚖️ But there’s an important balance
🚀 Pushing yourself can be beneficial, but don’t let it turn into self-hatred or a humiliation ritual.
🥀 Because once motivation becomes constant guilt and pressure, burnout starts creeping in
And eventually, many people become so overwhelmed that they drop Hifdh altogether.
Discipline is important, but sustainable discipline is even more important.
