The light that tells you when there’s a problem with your tire pressure also has a way to let you know when it’s not working properly. A flashing TPMS light lets you know that either the sensors or the receiver isn’t transmitting or receiving a signal.
These sensors are normally located in your tire, unless you have a passive system. And normally the fix is a new tire pressure sensor. The battery life on them is between 3-5 years, although I have seen them last up to seven years before going offline.
