Hey everyone 👋 Quick update, and a big thank you to @Alexander VandeLaar for yesterday’s call. It felt great to reconnect after taking some space to reset and rethink my direction a bit. During that time, I worked with an amazing YouTube strategist, Dylan Reynolds, and the impact has been immediate. My very first video using his frameworks hit 1,000 subscribers and over 20,000 views within it's first week and I even sold my first offer and signed a paying client directly from that video within three days. That really drove something home for me: Thumbnails and titles are genuinely 80% of the entire game. You can create the most meaningful, polished, high-value video… but if it isn’t clickable, it effectively doesn’t exist. A few big lessons that landed: - Split test three completely different thumbnail ideas, not small tweaks, but genuinely different directions - Pull outlier concepts from other niches and reverse-engineer them into your story, proven psychology is more reliable than guessing - Use strong curiosity loops inside both the thumbnail and the script - Watch your CTR in the early hours: - My video held over 50% retention (with no b-roll), which blew me away — even Mr Beast often sits below 40% This has helped me understand how to turn my story into something actually compelling and bingeable, rather than “just another transformation video.” I finally feel like I can see how all the pieces fit together. You’ll learn a ton just from how he breaks down thumbnails, titles, hooks, and viewer psychology.
