Fundamentals
Maybe it’s because I just started intermittent fasting and I’m hangry but I’ve been frustrated this morning.
There’s a post in Skoolers from a new owner asking for advice and I noticed that in large part the advice was unhelpful. “Keep at it” “Play the long game” “Stay engaged” “Be human”
In itself this advice isn’t bad but it’s just not practical. The asker is wondering what they need to do. I was shocked no one was talking about the fundamentals.
What problem or pain do you solve?
Why is it a problem?
How big is that market?
Where does that market spend its time?
Who is your ideal customer?
How do you solve it?
What’s that journey like?
How do your clients/members work with you?
If you’re unclear in these things you won’t attract or keep customers/members.
