her (2013) review
🎬 Just watched Her (2013), and it stayed with me longer than I expected.
On the surface, it’s about a man falling in love with an AI.But underneath, it feels more like a film about loneliness, emotional dependency, and modern connection.
What hit me most wasn’t the tech — it was how human everything felt:
- wanting to be understood
- filling emotional gaps
- growing apart, even when love is real
The movie doesn’t judge the relationship. It just lets you sit with the discomfort and ask your own questions.
It made me wonder:Are we using technology to enhance connection or to avoid the risk of real intimacy?
