In 2011, I started The Velvet Cell, a photobook publishing company, knowing absolutely nothing about publishing.
Over 12 years, we published 100+ books by photographers from around the world. I designed the first 60+ myself and handled editing, printing, distribution, sales, marketing, crowdfunding and promotion.
I also published six of my own books, doing the editing, sequencing, design and crowdfunding myself.
Today, I run Photobookers, the world's first discovery platform for photobooks.
Now, I'm putting all that experience into a community for photographers making their first photobook.
