📣 New Quest in the Classroom 🥳 - Thinking Outside the Brain
I've just dropped a new Quest in the Career Readiness Journey: Thinking Outside the Brain. The cognitive skills nobody teaches you. Annie Murphy Paul (the renowned science writer) makes a research-backed case that the smartest thinking doesn't happen inside your head. It happens when you use your body, your surroundings, and your relationships as extensions of your mind. You'll come away knowing how to: - Use your body as a thinking tool (interoception, gesture, movement) - Design your surroundings deliberately to support different kinds of cognitive work - Build "groupiness" in any team you lead or join - Tell the difference between cognition-draining and cognition-restoring breaks I'm really excited about this quest because it's more about how to replenish your brain's energy when it's exhausted, how to communicate in ways that will help people remember what you've said, and how to get the most out of a group. This Quest is going to be helpful whether you're working, in school, or just trying to get through you own day. This Quest officially opens the Career Readiness Journey. More career and workplace content will arrive every week or so from here on. Founders, you have full access through your lifetime VIP. Going forward, this Quest is Premium-tier for new members. Try a Waypoint or two, then come back and comment. What will you do differently?

This is the foundation. Everything we'll build from here — career readiness, financial literacy, paychecks, job hunting, growth, launch readiness, and more — starts with understanding this. 5 New-Year-Ready AI Prompts
Here are 5 prompts to help you set smarter goals, avoid burnout, and actually follow through. CHALLENGE: Try one or more of these prompts. Then come back and share the results! - Here’s my New Year’s resolution: “[paste it].” Rewrite it so it's SMART - realistic, measurable, and something I’ll actually stick to. Then break it into weekly actions. - Here’s a goal I keep failing at: “[goal].” Diagnose why I quit every time and redesign the goal to work with my habits instead of against them. - Here are my priorities for 2026: [list]. Design a realistic weekly schedule that supports them without burning me out. - Based on the goals I didn’t finish last year, help me reset them without guilt. What should I keep, change, or let go of? - I want to focus on ONE goal this year: “[goal].” Build a simple system, tracking method, and weekly check-in question to help me stay consistent.
Identifying Shady Shopping Sites
I don't know about you, but social media is always showing me ads with cool stuff that I actually consider buying. The problem is that so many of them are sites that can't be trusted - they may be knock-offs and not the original, they may be scammers, they may have terrible reviews, or they may be shipping from a foreign country without disclosing it. Here's a prompt that I use to ensure my shopping is safe: I saw this product in an online ad and want to avoid scams, knockoffs, or shipping from questionable foreign countries. Product: [name] Link: [URL] Please: - Identify the legitimate or original seller - Confirm whether the brand is real and reputable - Find official or trusted retailers selling the same item - Warn me about likely fake or low-quality versions - State whether verified buyer reviews exist and summarize them by source - Identify likely shipping origin and expected delivery timelines Be cautious and flag risks clearly.
